Engagement Unique Rings publishes buying guides, style explainers, comparisons and brand reviews about engagement rings, wedding rings and fine jewelry. The focus is on rings that step away from the default, such as botanical settings, colored stones, uncommon shapes and vintage-inspired designs, and on the practical questions that come with them: will it last, can it be resized, what happens if you need to return it?
Who writes it
Taya Sel is the editorial voice behind the site. She researches and writes the guides and brand pages and keeps them up to date. Her work draws on published jeweler policies, product listings, gemological education material and consumer guidance such as the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Jewelry Guides.
We are careful about what we claim. Taya is not a certified gemologist or appraiser, and the site does not laboratory-test stones. When an article includes hands-on impressions, it says so explicitly. When a fact comes from a brand, we label it as the brand's statement and link to it.
